About
I am an incoming Ph.D. student in the CARE Lab at Purdue University.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for three years, focusing on deep learning-based SLAM, multimodal sensor fusion, and sim-to-real robotic control.
Before entering the industry, I earned my M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and my B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, with an upper-level concentration in machine learning.
My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, deep reinforcement learning, and robotic perception.
Selected Projects
- JellyCATalog (iOS): An independent project developed as a mobile application for the Jellycat collector community.
- Real-Time Visual SLAM: Architected a high-performance perception system for autonomous navigation.
- AR Guitar Assistant: Developed an augmented reality prototype for real-time guitar fretboard visualization.
- Autonomous Agent: Trained an agent to navigate Crossy Road using YOLO and a Deep Q-Network (DQN).
